Rob Lock has described this album as 'A Soundtrack to a fantasy movie that doesn't exist'. It is inspired by the work of (among others) James Horner, Joe Hisaishi, Nobou Uematsu and Howard Shore. Each song introduces a theme then presents it in a series of orchestral variations is such a way that, if you close your eyes, a scene from a story will play through in your mind. Lock explores a huge range of the textures and sonic landscapes that a full-sized orchestra has to offer while creating an intact musical identity for each track, and touching on profound themes of adventure, imagination and renewal.
